NoStringsMen ("we", "us", "our") is operated by No Strings Web Ltd (trading as No Strings Men), registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17045594), VAT no. GB515551602. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.
Our sister sites (including nostringsmen.com, nostringswomen.com, and nostringsswingers.com) share a central membership account for sign-in and core account details. Each site also stores its own profile and site-specific content for that brand.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (profile details, messages, media uploads, preferences) and automatically (device info, IP address, usage data). Text you submit may be sent to OpenAI for automated moderation as described in section 5. We record the IP address associated with each media upload for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance (including responding to lawful requests). We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and storage. On certain flows Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise runs automated checks (including signals and associated cookies described in sections 9 and our Cookie Policy) to reduce bots and abuse. Age verification may be processed by third-party providers such as AgeGO.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the service, personalise your experience, process payments, enforce our terms, improve our site, and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Payment Processing
When you pay for Premium or other digital goods, card charges are processed by CCBill (CCBill, LLC, a US payment provider). We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. Checkout may present major card networks including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, JCB, and Maestro, depending on your location, bank, and device. CCBill's handling of card and billing data is described in the CCBill Privacy Policy.
What we store. To run your membership and support billing, we keep billing metadata such as your subscription status, plan length, amounts charged, currency, CCBill subscription and transaction references, renewal dates, auto-renew flags, and audit logs of subscription changes. We do not receive or store your full card number. This data is kept while your account is active and as needed for tax, fraud prevention, chargeback handling, and legal compliance (see section 8).
International transfers. CCBill may process payment data in the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards apply for transfers outside the UK/EEA.
4. Age Verification
We offer AgeGO as our age verification partner. If you use AgeGO to verify your age, their Cookie Policy, Legal Notice, and Privacy Policy apply to that processing.
5. Text moderation (OpenAI)
Text you submit to the Website is processed through a text moderation application programming interface (API) provided by OpenAI. This includes, but is not limited to, profile bios, video and media descriptions, headlines, and comments. Your text may be sent to OpenAI for automated analysis as part of this process.
We use this system to help detect and reduce prohibited content, including child sexual abuse material, violent or harmful text, and other categories of content that violate our rules or pose safety risks. Moderation is not perfect, but it supports our efforts to keep the service safer for you and for other users, including those who may be vulnerable. OpenAI's handling of data in connection with its services is described in its Privacy Policy.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption (SSL), secure authentication, and access controls. Your data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) infrastructure.
7. Your Rights (UK/EU)
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object. You may also withdraw consent where we rely on it. 8. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Deleted content may be retained in backup or for audit purposes where required by law.
When you close your account from settings, you choose whether to remove your profile from No Strings Men only or to close your account on every sister site. In both cases, some information may be kept for a limited period (currently up to six months after closure on this site) where we need it for legal compliance, fraud prevention, serious illegal content obligations, or defending legal claims. After that period, or when we no longer need the data, we delete or anonymise it where we can. Closing this site only does not automatically erase your central membership record if you still use other sister sites.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies for login and session management. Where we run Google reCAPTCHA on specific steps, Google may set cookies such as _GRECAPTCHA on its domains to support automated risk analysis for that challenge. Those are separate from our own session cookies and are not switched off through our optional preference toggles. With your consent, we may use optional cookies for saved preferences and aggregate usage insights to improve the service over time. 10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the site or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Security research and vulnerability disclosure
We run a vulnerability disclosure program so independent security researchers can report weaknesses in a controlled way. That helps us fix issues before they are widely exploited, which benefits everyone who uses the service.
Reports are handled confidentially. Researchers who participate agree not to misuse personal data and to delete or destroy unnecessary copies after reporting, as set out on the program page. We use reports to improve security and compliance; we do not use them to market unrelated services to you.
If you are not a security researcher, normal privacy questions and data rights requests should go through the same channels described in sections 7 and 12 below, including email to hello@nostringsmen.com. Technical security reports belong in the program channel.
